Terms of Service — Tiny Fates

By accessing or using Tiny Fates ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, stop using the App.

1. License

FainTech Solutions SRL grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for entertainment. You may NOT:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
Modify, translate, or create derivative works (beyond personal use)
Redistribute, resell, or lease the App
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) against the App
Use the App to violate any law

2. The Game Itself

Tiny Fates is a work of fiction. Events, characters, and scenarios are satirical. Any resemblance to real people, companies, or events is coincidental or for commentary purposes.

The App does NOT provide:

Financial advice — tax strategies in-game are JOKES, not guidance
Legal advice — the "arrest" mechanic is not a legal simulation
Career advice — your boss is not actually going to fire you (probably)
Psychiatric help — if an event hits too close, please talk to a real person

We are not responsible for life decisions you make based on the game. Probably don't "accept the plea deal" in real life.

3. Mobile Purchases and Ads

Fates Pass (subscription): auto-renews unless canceled before the renewal date. Purchases are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under the terms shown by that store. RevenueCat validates the resulting entitlement but does not collect full card details.

Founder Pack (one-time): unlocks custom starts, rewinds, and timeline tools for the store account used for purchase. Restore availability follows the applicable store's rules.

Free users may see ads. Fates Pass users should not see ads while the entitlement is active.

Refunds

Apple purchases: request eligible refunds through Apple's App Store refund process.
Google Play purchases: use Google Play's refund process or contact us when Google directs you to the developer.

We may require enough receipt or order information to locate the transaction. We never ask for full card numbers.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices. You will be notified before your next renewal at the new price where required by law.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Share screenshots that include real-world offensive content
Attempt to exploit the App in ways that damage other users or us
Use the App if you are under 13; users under the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction need parent/guardian permission

We reserve the right to revoke access for users who:

Violate these Terms
Attempt fraudulent purchases
Harm the service or other users

5. Intellectual Property

Game screenshots shared on social media are permitted and encouraged. Please tag @tinyfates on TikTok/X when possible.

6. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant:

Uninterrupted availability
Error-free operation
Fitness for any particular purpose
That the jokes will land

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. If you've only played the free version, our liability is €0.

7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our control: server outages, Apple/Google platform changes, natural disasters, pandemics, AI replacing programmers, etc.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bucharest, Romania.

EU consumers retain all protections under EU consumer law regardless of this clause.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the App and require re-acceptance (tap "I Agree" on next launch). Continued use after changes = acceptance.
